Ben Wolven is the founder of Oyster Wulff, a raw bar and oyster catering company based in Denver, Colorado. A nationally recognized oyster shucker and storyteller, Ben brings nearly two decades of experience in the shellfish world - from dockside harvests to championship stages. He’s a 6x Colorado Shucking Champion, Maine State Champion, and two-time top-ten finisher at the World Cup of Oyster Opening.

But Oyster Wulff isn’t just about speed and spectacle - it’s about cold-water, precision, sourcing, and the deep pleasure of serving something done properly. Ben’s work centers on product integrity, visual presentation, and a sense of joy that carries from plate to guest. His pop-ups blend raw bar performance with Colorado’s natural wine and cocktail culture.

Ben lives in Denver with his son, runs his growing brand with patience and grit, and still believes the best oyster is the one you didn’t expect to love.
